Founder & Executive Chef
Chef Michael Vitakes brings more than 30 years of culinary and hospitality experience to Creative Catering. His career began in a professional kitchen at just 17 years old, followed by studies in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Diablo Valley College and culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu.
Inspired by his Greek heritage and a lifelong belief that food brings people together, Michael has spent more than two decades building Creative Catering around exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and personal service. From intimate celebrations to weddings, corporate gatherings, church events, and large-scale community functions, he approaches every event with the same care and attention to detail.
For Michael, it’s about more than serving a great meal; it’s about creating an experience people remember.
